This is a regular cheap card reader. This is USB 2.0. Be very careful when inserting SD cards and USB connectors into the slots. The connectors are soldered directly onto the circuit board. If you use too much force, the socket will be ripped out of the circuit board. There are better card readers for the money. I managed to save the tray. I sawed off the front panel and installed an SSD drive. Just don't use it for heavy use.
