We have a 50 lb year old dog that shows destructive power when left alone. It was in the crate all night and when we were out, but we didn't like leaving it there for long now that it's bigger. We had a grip when he was a pup but he learned to jump so we need something bigger. This works well, but be aware that he can move it around the room. We put free weights in front of him so now he can't. In addition, 2 closures do not have a safety hook that prevents opening from the inside. We added extra clips to keep the door closed because if the dog is having trouble getting out, how is he? The old ones get stuck halfway, and that's very dangerous.
