I used these wool drying balls for 4 loads of laundry. Before that I used tennis balls in my dryer. I like that it is organic wool with no additives. They claim these balls can: reduce wrinkles, reduce static, help with frizz and tangles, remove lint and hair, and save up to 30% drying time. I'd say with just those 4 charges: they really helped control static cling. They tended to attract lint and hair (perhaps even better than tennis balls). They probably helped with tangling and twisting of clothing. I haven't noticed a drastic saving in drying time. But I have a 30 year old dryer so maybe she's doing her best. So far I like them and would buy them again.
