Nice fabric, odd fit

Edit: Shrunk after washing. Now they are oddly shaped and too small. The odd flatness in the legs has gotten a lot worse and they look pretty silly. The fabric is great, but the rest needs to go back to the drawing board. These are cute shorts, definitely good quality, soft and thick material, good stitching etc. I just have a few small reservations about the fit. I got a small one. When I looked at them before putting them on they seemed too big, but for the most part they fit. I'm 5'5 135, athletic and (this is important) I have small hips. Not unusually narrow. I mean, I don't have wide hips or "child-bearing hips" at all. I wish I could do it! But I have a more V-shaped figure from shoulders to hips. I mention this because it's my shape issue - I don't think they would fit women with wide hips. Belt 2-3 cm high, does not stretch. He doesn't give much more than what he had to give. So if you have a different shape, you're stuck. Since I'm about 5 kilos overweight, this meant a small muffin top for me. For people with wider hips but skinny I think it will look amazing if you fit in the belt haha. I kept them because I'm almost never overweight so I'm not worried. Another issue I have with the fit is that the "legs" are a bit wide. This is my general complaint. I even hate it in Lulu running shorts. Otherwise they're short, but not so short that my butt dangles. These days I see many ladies wearing booty shorts and mistaking the fat on their thighs for their butt. mmm no So if you have cellulite and fat on your inner thighs, it will show. But it hides my real ass. Again soft material and nice rich color.
