Review on Jessica Nourish Oil 0 5 Oz by Sharonda Guzman

Just because it comes in a fancy little tube doesn't mean it's great!

I have very dry skin and nails and within about 3 months I have completely ruined my nails by peeling off gel manicure several times 7-10 days after application. Gel manicures really don't chip, and that's partly because the nail polish is baked onto each nail layer by layer under a UV light. As a result, a thick protective layer of varnish is formed on your nails, but if the manicurist is not very skillful, the base of the varnish near the cuticle is as thick as the varnish at the tip of the nail, and within a week After 10 days is after Enough new nail has grown after applying the polish that those of us who tend to tinker with such things sometimes start scratching at that thickened edge of polish at the base of the nail. Eventually, the durable gel polish comes off mostly intact. I found this quite satisfying, but it was disastrous for my nails because every time I did it it peeled off a layer (or layers) of the nail along with the dried polish, leaving my nails even thinner, drier, and cleaner. weaker than originally. At the end of December all my nails were in bad shape but 3 nails on my right hand became so dry and brittle they split in the middle which was not only alarming but also quite painful. I wore patches on these fingers for a few days until my nails grew enough to file them down so the sharp edges wouldn't catch on things and tear them further, but I realized my nails and cuticles needed moisture. Treat. I read about olive oil having therapeutic properties and I had it on hand so I decided to give it a try. I poured some olive oil into a bowl of chili and heated it in the microwave, and then soaked my hands one minute at a time for about 5 minutes while watching TV. I wiped my oiled hand with paper towels, reheated the olive oil, and wet my other hand. It was incredibly effective at repairing my nails and cuticles, but then I read about Jessica Nourish Nail Treatment and decided to give it a try. I've been using it for a little over a week and apply it every night after washing my hands just before bed. It's certainly easier to use than olive oil, though. I don't care about the smell, my nails don't look as good as olive oil and I've had quite a few hangnails since I stopped using the oil. Olive oil. After trying this product I'm quitting using it and going back to the olive oil treatment. I know I'm in the minority because most women clearly love this product. It's not a bad product, but olive oil is a lot cheaper and has worked a lot better for me.
