Received two of these today and both will be back tomorrow. They were packed and ready to ship within an hour of receipt. One microphone had to be held firmly or it wouldn't connect. As soon as the radio was switched off, the connection was lost. The second microphone lowered the volume, and when the microphone or the radio was moved, the volume returned to normal. Tried another microphone (different brand) and it worked great. Take the money and buy a Baofeng brand microphone for your UV-5R.
