This item comes with a broken sensor and remote control, so I can't start it with the remote control, I connected it via an electrical switch what means either off or on without replacing these broken parts you can never use fanless light or fanless light as said it is either always on or always off. I have tried contacting the company to tell them they need to send me defective replacement parts but they have only sent one email and after sending two I have had no response so far. I have this outlet in my dining room so the fan runs every time I turn on the light. Very disappointed I have a great product that cannot be used
