I really liked the makeup sponge. In fact, I like it a lot more than the beauty blender. The Aesthetica Cosmetics sponge is softer and more elastic and I can blend it much easier. It absorbs water faster and pushes out excess water more easily. My foundation applies smoothly and evenly with the AC Sponge. On the contrary, I didn't like the density and texture of the BB. Saturation took longer and is smaller, leaving less surface area to work with. My foundation seemed noticeably blotchy and sticky when I used it and it didn't work on me at all. Every time I washed it the BB gave off a pink dye and I was never able to get rid of the foundation stains. . Even when I use the BB Solid Cleanser (which I love) everything looks messy and messy. The Aesthetica sponge doesn't leave any color stains on me and the excess make-up can be washed off very easily. After all, I can't justify the price of a BB when I can get it for less than half the price. I can afford to keep several wet and dry products on hand. Now my BB sits unused in my dressing table drawer and has turned out to be a waste of twenty bucks. I know a lot of people are crazy about BB but for me personally the AC sponge was way better.
