Review on πŸŽ’ Sherpani Atlantic Laptop Backpacks: Lightweight Backpacks with Enhanced Protection by Christina Potter

Revainrating 4 out of 5

4.5 stars; I like this backpack but there are a few things that need fixing

This is my favorite backpack. The size and shape of the main compartment is just right for me. I am an average height woman. This backpack is roughly the same width as regular men's backpacks, but slightly shorter for women's comfort and balance. Inside and on the flap there are many pockets for small things. The fabric looks and feels great and the colors look great. The left side pocket is perfect for my thermos, the right side pocket has a different shape and is much less useful. I have some complaints that prevent this bag from being perfect. The shoulder straps are not padded. The bag is cumbersome to carry a laptop, a couple of hardback books and a full bottle of water. Even a little padding on the shoulder straps makes the bag much more comfortable when I'm carrying heavier loads around town. 2. The shoulder straps are too long. I'm of average height and have to tighten the straps as tight as possible to carry this bag in a comfortable position on my shoulders. Someone who is shorter or has thinner shoulders may have problems with the strap length.3. The hook to attach the valve to the backpack body is too cumbersome to use. I have to take the backpack off and put it on the ground to open the valve with two hands, which I don't have to do with any other backpack. Attaching the valve with a hook is even more difficult because it's so small, especially at night when it's hard to see. The hook is ugly too, it's a bit wider than the strap it attaches to so it always looks unbalanced. I would give the bag a solid 5 stars if these issues could be fixed.
