Very large variations in degree of wear from salt washing. I only ordered 5 pairs and they all looked completely different. Some wore light clothing. While others had much coarser wear. Although out of the 5 pairs I bought from Amazon, 3 had already been returned or were defective. The seams of one pair had already come undone, the sole of one was not quite white and had probably been tried on. The last bad pair (white) had a water stain. I would suggest buying them from a store or buying a few as 3 were inferior. Revane seemed to know when I called. I also recommend wearing invisible socks, otherwise they will smell like sweat. Depending on whether you wear invisible socks or not, the size can be between two. One pair of shoes also had the Sperry branding worn on the back which was not the case with the other 4 pairs. Pay special attention to the shoes you receive.
