Looks nice, but it doesn't mean anything if they don't work. Smooth work. The shoes keep the pedals light and firm. I like the large surface compared to my old "rat trap" pedals. Fits my 1985 Schwinn Traveler road bike. Very happy with the purchase. Update after some use of the pedals. Still works fine. Upon initial installation I noticed that the pedals spin smoothly but stop quickly instead of spinning freely. I thought it might be because the lube needs a bit of work, but the pedals still don't spin very freely. Not something you'll notice while riding, but maybe not the best if you're looking for the most efficient free spin pedals.
