🚀 Stens 290-691 Control Cable for Engines Review

The reason I say this is because I decided to take my time sipping even though it arrived a few days late. Also short for my master 917.376161 lawn mower.

Check the app's style and length and make sure it fits what you have. I have a weird machine that takes one of 4 different cables.

. Same as the old one it replaced. It was a bit long but the old one was the same so all I had to do was fix the slack around the handle with zip ties. $10 for this cord brought my old Briggs and Stratton lawn mower back from the dead!

It was a bit too long for my mower but my son in law was able to tie a knot in the cord which made it the perfect length. It was cheaper than any other I was looking for. Now I have to find another way to brake the mower so I don't have to mow.

Item is fine. Please check the cable length before ordering. A search revealed this to be the correct cord for my lawn mower. It turns out that this cable is too short for my device and there is a different part number, same design but longer.

Essentially this is a special purpose product and it did the job just right. The best part was trying to get it from the dealer and they were sold out (as always these days). Searched here and found it at an even better price. Delivery was fast. Good experience. It should also be noted that this is a very simple two-minute setup.

This is a great replacement control wire for my Craftsman mower. The only issue I had was that it was about 1 inch shorter than the lawnmower length. Luckily my lawn mower had an option where you could move the control cable slot down so it worked in the end. I would buy it again as it looked and felt like the original.
