I like martini vodka stirred, not shaken. I had another glass and crystal faucet that was a little smaller and was supposed to be dishwasher safe, but it only broke after about a month of use in the dishwasher. I like her size. I wash them by hand so I can't comment on how they perform in the dishwasher. I highly recommend them. They are beautiful and flow well.
