I have been living in an apartment with a basement for the past 2 years due to a smelly smell due to very poor ventilation. My friend advised me to buy an air purifier. I bought these based on my budget and space requirements. I have found that it makes the air very fresh and clean, eliminates food odors and is very easy to use. The design is very elegant and concise. I usually leave it running at night to get a good night's sleep. I'm surprised I don't have bad breath anymore. The only downside is that it sometimes makes noise when heated. Another issue is the life and durability of the HEPA filters (I have to replace them within 6 months as suggested by the tech).
