Within two days I was told my order was ready to ship. When it finally arrived on the second day, both lower regiments had suffered minor but noticeable damage. A small plastic bag with a screw and zipper is used to highlight the area where there is a small tear. I am a caregiver and sometimes need to buy furniture to better suit my needs. This time I needed something in the corner to show off a few things. I was excited when I saw a set of two corner shelves. When I opened the first box I was shocked to find the shelves and spindles were just in plastic bags. (without shock absorbing material). After separating the shelves, I immediately saw a small crack on one part. The same problem was in the second box. Assembly was easy as advertised (after realizing that the bottom shelf puts a leg forward (no spindle). If the spindles are tight enough then the strength/stability is good, although I would be concerned. If I had kids The spindles also need strong hands to tighten.The product information suggests that the units be wall mounted.A screw and tie rod are supplied for this.As mentioned above I live in a nursing home and wouldn't want anything like that.When I have put the shelves in the appropriate corners, I wasn't happy with the look so it dawned on me to assemble them together instead and place them where they are now Find and place the zip ties as discreetly as possible.
