I have waited to write my review until I have used the thread. I sew masks and I had to stock up and I needed different colors because, TBH, although I've been sewing on my machine for a number of years, I have no real training and I'm far from a pro otherwise, I can't sew properly, um save your life haha So I prefer to combine the thread with the fabric as much as possible so my lack of skill is less noticeable. This thread is PERFECT for that. The colors are beautiful, the thread is strong enough to sew medium weight woven fabrics (haven't tried it on anything else yet), and I haven't had a problem with excessive thread shedding. two coils that I used. I realize that this filament is fuzzier than more expensive materials, a quick visual comparison makes this obvious, but for me it's not a determining factor as I don't expect the same quality from a filament that costs less than half the price. So I checked my machine between masks and removed any accumulated lint as a precaution, but didn't realize it was significantly more than ever. Based on some negative reviews I recommend keeping an eye on this and cleaning it regularly to avoid buildup. I've only used two colors and only as upper thread, I haven't used it as bobbin thread yet.
