Review on XGEAR Deluxe Low/High Back Boat Seat, Fold-Down Fishing Boat Seat by David Hansen

First, I hate to give a negative review on anything. We were so excited to be getting new seats for our boat, but the cons on these seats definitely out-weigh the pros. The quality is sub-standard and I wish we had bought from a local supplier. Too bad we ordered two sets (four seats) and have problems WITH all four.Cons:1. Snaps on straps are poorly designed and attached. The metal outer ring of the snap and receiver (of the snap) are so narrow, all four pulled out of the vinyl. This was after two snap/un-snap attempts. Now the straps are rendered useless.2. Underside of seat bottoms (vinyl) are stapled. Foam is showing around the rough edges of the vinyl.3. Due to the foam being exposed under the seats, a seat cover or boat cover will be necessary to keep the foam from getting soaked when it rains.4. Bass Pro Shop and Walmart have a better quality seat for the same price OR LESS!Pros:1. The vinyl colors, thickness of padding and saddle-stitching are nice.
