Review on ๐ŸŒฟ Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water: The Ultimate Makeup Remover for Sensitive Skin by Traci Westhoff

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Acne-prone, oily skin is ALLOWED!

Wow! just wow. I recently decided to rethink my entire skincare routine because I just don't feel like I can continue to justify over $30 on each item I use which is an average of 4-5 products per morning and night . I have oily combination skin with almost constant blackheads (from nose to cheek tip), occasional blackheads and occasional cystic pimples. Bioderma Sensibio H2O is my latest edition. I tried micellar water about 2-3 years ago and HATE how greasy my face got after using it. If I had used Bioderma Sensibio H2O instead of the horrible Garnier products I've tried I would have written this review 2-3 years ago. Most people with oily, acne-prone skin don't realize that we need to treat our skin. like sensitive skin. This means we need gentle cleansers with minimal ingredients that don't strip skin of its natural protective barrier. Therefore, that hardcore cleaner you are using should be thrown away as soon as possible. When you overcorrect oily skin, it becomes even thicker! Excess oil is actually your skin's defense mechanism and is telling you that you're being too aggressive with your skincare routine. I know this seems delayed reading but BELIEVE ME. It is true. That's where this stuff SHINES. I use it as part of the double cleaning method. I use this to completely remove my makeup by applying it to a reusable bamboo cotton pad (I can't justify this amount of daily waste which is why I chose a reusable). I do this about 2 times until the block is clean. Then I wash my face with the product I've been using for years. It's hard to explain what exactly happens when I use this other than it's pure fucking magic. My face feels fresh, moist and so damn soft. I've found my serums and moisturizers to absorb much better and faster since adding this product. I even noticed that my pores have gotten smaller in the last 3 days. It didn't make me erupt. In fact, I think it may have reduced some of my current acne. I honestly never thought I would love a product that cost me less than $15, but I do. If there is a product that you would like to add to your daily routine, choose this one. Since it is formulated for sensitive skin, everyone can benefit from it. Do yourself a favor and buy it now!
