If I were to rate the assembly alone I would give zero stars. It was one of the most disappointing things I've ever collected. Make sure you have a real screwdriver as the Allen key they give you won't work. The instructions are very difficult to follow and seem to defy gravity at times. This shows that things are being placed upside down, which alone cannot be done. Many of the holes had been ripped out, making driving screws an impossible task. When it came time to open the top of the table, nothing stood up and one of the dowels went through the table top and pierced the car stage. As a result, there is now a hole in my desk. The paint has many bumps, in some places it is smooth, but in some places the edges are rough and not finished. The seams on the tabletop are very poorly done. One of the positives is that it feels solid and doesn't wobble after tightening with a screwdriver. Not impressed overall, but for just over a hundred bucks, it's what you'd expect. My daughter seems happy with it and we will keep it as it would be more of a hassle to take it apart and send it back.
