Works as expected, read instructions carefully, allows for permanent installation

I used this to test lipo batteries for my RCs at a minimum voltage of 11.1v. Note it is not tested below 8V The image on the product page is incorrect and shows a double A battery, although we all know each is rated at 1.5V. One star was required for this. Battery readings are accurate and easy to use. I highly recommend reading the instructions first, they can be a bit shaky at times, but it's worth reading to set them up for your particular battery. The sides of the display have sewing feet and the front is a built-in bezel. If you want or want you can simply mount it permanently in for example a golf cart or other item that needs to be read constantly and the clamp lugs will keep it in place. The ends are tinned to prevent the wire from fraying and to keep the display clear, bright and easy to read. Overall it works great as it should and the build quality is what it costs. The plastic is thick and durable on both the sides and back, but the front screen protector is flimsy and wafer-thin, but doesn't interfere with reading in any way. The buttons are not flimsy and feel comfortable when selecting options. In general, it is worth asking about the price at the time of the evaluation.
