My son's iPad 2 screen was broken. Destroyed. Buying a new one or paying a professional to fix it was out of the question as the reason it broke was because they didn't store the case the way we told them to. The product arrived, my husband spent about an hour replacing it (I spent most of the time removing the old screen because it was badly broken) and after that my son's iPad was like new. In daily use, no complaints. With that in mind, there are a few things you should keep in mind when dealing with such a problem. When removing the old screen, use a heat gun or hair dryer at maximum temperature to loosen the adhesive.2. Use a tool like a sharp knife to separate the digitizer from the iPad, but don't go too deep or you'll cut the ribbon cable and need to be replaced.3. Although the digitizer already comes with adhesive, please order additional high quality adhesive material to add it.
