Great job on this cage. Well built and feels good to hold and use. It offers enough "cage" without completely enclosing the entire camera, and offers just the right amount of mounting points. As for the "little change", I use this with the GH4 and a longer vertical stem (they have both a shorter and longer stem) which gives it some room and added a quick release for easy camera removal. . Without a quick release, it would be a hassle to remove the camera while shooting. If you're using a large camera, you most likely don't have room for it. I don't think it's a big deal - the GH4 gives you full access to all inputs, map swapping and the battery, and it's small enough that you can fit it all on a monopod or whatever. (Of course most sliders and stabilizers require you to remove the camera.) Overall very happy with this purchase.
