This was done to replace the converted HDMI to S-Video.
This was done to replace an HDMI to S-Video converter that burned out after a few years. After about 5 minutes, the sound of what I observed was replaced by a high-pitched screech. I turned the sound off because it's the second TV in the room and I could hear a different one. The video stopped working after about an hour. The video signal is mediocre, but that's true of all 3 converters I've used. There is quite a bit of noise in the sound, but so was the previous one. Runtime performance was acceptable, but a blank screen with a high-pitched squeak was not.
