I wasn't sure how long the battery would last on a single shot. Especially after reading a review saying it only lasts 3 hours on HQ mode. The first thing I tested was this. I can now prove that it lasts more than 7 hours in this mode. Just check the attached picture. I have not tested other modes. I bought it to use as a ruler in a dictaphone, so recording from a mic isn't particularly important. The files are saved in WAV format and do not require the installation of additional software. Just connect it to a PC with a USB cable and read it like a disc. 4 stars because it can't record in MP3 format. WAV 64kbps.
