Good to have spares if you are not happy with the original placement or when changing vehicles. Although the magnets are a little weak on my iPhone 6 plus with an iMophie battery case (which is heavy). Even with a large magnet, it tends to fall off when I turn or slow down. But I don't think magnets won't have a problem on standard sized phones. I haven't had any interference issues so I'm very happy to have spares. I'm still using the originals and they're holding up great, so I can't comment on the removal process. But overall very satisfied.
