Love the mount they work with but the glue tabs keep failing. The tabs stick well to the dash and bracket but break from time to time (too often), mostly when the car gets hot. I have a large iPhone with a case but the original mount says it supports a tablet. definitely not true.

Buy these for new cars and gifts. Like almost all reviewers, I like the form factor and functionality. Attention! Do not use with wireless charger. On my first try, the small plate on the back of the phone got insanely hot. It's more of a wireless charging trait, just be careful.

My first use of a dash mounted watch face that actually held the mount in place lasted almost a year as the phone's weight (Galaxy 5, then Galaxy 7) removed the bracket from the dashboards. I've since bought a replacement set and three different discs didn't last more than a month before losing traction. Before applying I also thoroughly cleaned all surfaces. I loved and now I don't.

I changed car and wanted to install the magnetic phone mount in my new car. The bracket came off with no problem, but I couldn't find any glue that would attach the bracket to the dash. Comes with tons of supplies for the price. Works on every magnetic holder I've tried, looks cooler than a regular blank metal square (although it does include a few "JUMBO" sized ones). Securely attached to my case with no issues, I've learned that another best way to ensure you get a good fit is to heat the adhesive on the back before sticking it to your device (it just sticks better when it's hot). ), so I use a lighter held a few inches below the glue to heat it up before gluing it in place.

Do not buy if you plan to resell your phone. I've used fishing line, thread and everything else to try and remove the disc from the back of my iPhone to no avail! I contacted support and all they told me was to use line and thread. Yes I tried so I contacted support again and got no response. I regret my purchase.

I'm a long time Steelie user and decided to try this instead. While I love having a flat back on my phone again, I wanted more magnets in many of the common places I would hang my phone. For example my refrigerator, the trunk of my car, various places in my garage. If I take a magnet with me I run into that wobble again and my compass doesn't work - and I use it a lot for geocaching. This is a great product - you just need to be able to buy just the magnetic part for added flexibility.

Good to have spares if you are not happy with the original placement or when changing vehicles. Although the magnets are a little weak on my iPhone 6 plus with an iMophie battery case (which is heavy). Even with a large magnet, it tends to fall off when I turn or slow down. But I don't think magnets won't have a problem on standard sized phones. I haven't had any interference issues so I'm very happy to have spares. I'm still using the originals and they're holding up great, so I can't comment…
