Review on ๐ŸŽง Denon AVR-S960H 8K Ultra HD 7.2 Channel AV Receiver - 2020 Model for Gaming, Music Streaming, 3D Audio & Video, Alexa + HEOS - Black by Isaac Maze

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Top notch receiver, very impressive, tons of features/features

The main downside is you have to turn on the receiver and switch to that input to get the loop to work and then turn the handset off again. Selecting the input on the remote actually turns the receiver on so you have to turn it off again. It will likely shorten the life of the product by constantly turning it on and off. It would be nice if touching the input when it was off would still put the receiver's input into standby mode. Other than that, this receiver is amazing. This is my first Denon receiver. Setup is very easy. The on-screen instructions on your TV not only walk you through each step, but also tell you how to connect speakers, what to do with cables, how to test each speaker, and more. Setup was easy. The sound quality is absolutely amazing. Great power and range. The pass-through ability for HDMI is excellent and a must if you don't want the receiver to always be on to watch different sources. It actually breathed life into my old speakers and now they sound great again. Amazing difference in quality to my 15 year old receiver. 8K is amazing, upscaling and all. Connecting Bluetooth to other devices is very easy and you can control the device with the remote control of the receiver. Easily connects to XM, iHeart, etc. This system really has all the features I can think of and then some. I can't believe the price of this device compared to others with lesser features and capabilities. The internal radio also sounds better. A nice touch for your phone's remote too, although it requires some work and is cumbersome to use at times (easier to just grab a real remote). Well done Denon! A small minus, the remote control is cheap, made of light plastic and with limited functions. A more expensive remote control would be nice.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was
