    Lots of options, great home theater

    The Denon AVR-S950H is packed with options. So far my only complaint is the complicated software. It may be short, but I got through it. If that's the only problem, this product is amazing. I'm packed with options. The tone controls and speaker volume can be adjusted for each mode and input of the system. 7.2 surround sound is fully adjustable. You can run it in 7.1, 7.2, 5.1 or 5.2, there are just so many options. I have my old trusty Bose 601 Series III front speakers and 5 channel surround…

    Great Idea, Poor Execution

    8K and VRR is the future of home video between new consoles and PC games. This 960H product supports 8K and VRR, but it seems like that's the bare minimum of support at best. Nowadays, with devices like the LG CX OLED supporting almost all resolutions and more and more people using PCs like consoles, one would think that engineers would understand how this product can be used and customize it for the consumer.     Top notch receiver, very impressive, tons of features/features

    The main downside is you have to turn on the receiver and switch to that input to get the loop to work and then turn the handset off again. Selecting the input on the remote actually turns the receiver on so you have to turn it off again. It will likely shorten the life of the product by constantly turning it on and off. It would be nice if touching the input when it was off would still put the receiver's input into standby mode. Other than that, this receiver is amazing. This is my first Denon

    I triggered the Denon AVR-S960H to replace an outdated 12 year old Harman Kardon that is ok but not working I didn't have HDMI in and out, didn't support DD+/Atmos etc so it was time for an upgrade.     I purchased this as the "Brain and Controller" for the following hardware: 2019 Sony Bravia 60" TV, Sony Ultra Blue Ray Player, Directv 4KUHD Server and Client, Screen Streaming device and Plex Movie Server.
