Review on 😌 Experience Cool Comfort with the Sleep Innovations Cooling Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper, 3 Inches, King Size by Reginald Pitt

I definitely know what it's like reading millions of reviews and I'm still not sure. Especially since memory foam toppers are usually very heavy and can hardly be repackaged when they are returned. Let me upfront by saying that I am not new to memory foam and I have had various one, two and four inch memory foam pads and after sleeping on them for 2 months I can safely say this is for works for me. SIZE: I wanted a king topper that is exactly 76" x 80" --- I don't like padding that's a few inches short on all sides because it's very uncomfortable when you're on the edge of the bed sit. put on socks! This one is perfect for a king size bed and standard king size bedding. SUPPORT: This is a comfortable medium thickness and density - I don't wake up in pain, but I don't find it difficult to change position or move like I do with a 3-4 inch pad. I had less dense 1-2 inch pads - they didn't improve comfort enough, but the extra thick pads usually left me too hot and immobile. At 3 pounds, this 2 inch pillow gives me just the right amount of support and comfort. IT IS HOT? Well, most memory foam pads end up getting hot. But this one is way, way better than some. Warm but no sauna. Pro Tip: I've found that if you put a memory foam mattress topper ABOVE the mattress but UNDER one of those regular fiber-filled stretch mattress pads that goes under the sheets, it significantly reduces the overheating factor and has the added benefit of having the foam topper not slipped. HOW WOULD IT BLOW TO GIVE THIS BACK IF ACCEPTED? The king size was definitely heavy, but not so heavy that I couldn't handle it on my own. However, it was packaged in a very compact box and the topper itself was wrapped tightly in a Tyvek-like sleeve that kept it compressed. Once you cut away this packaging it puffed up within minutes and I really think it would be a little dramatic to squeeze it back into the original packaging. (I think you could put it in a giant garbage bag and then systematically roll the air from side to side like a sleeping bag.) VALUE: After looking at dozens of similar products and hundreds of reviews, I think I've found the right one have done selection. There are cheaper toppers out there, but many of them are lower density foams. After 2 months I see no signs of wear and the extra heat is bearable. Will I buy again and recommend? Yes absolutely. ---- Update January 2017 ---- I've had this on my bed for over a year now and it's still in great condition. The foam didn't begin to collapse, disintegrate, become sticky, or anything else. It's almost the same as day one, apart from a slight yellowing around the edges, which I think is normal for memory foam. (We're talking an inch or so of margin -- and I seem to recall that most memory foam eventually ends up being, or becoming, a deeper color overall.) It's still supportive and comfortable, and I'm everything I am too place over the mattress, and UNDER the polyester mattress topper to keep everything in place. If I had a reason to buy another one, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this one.
