I bought this as an upgrade for my old 17 inch Viewsonic CRT monitor. I like the dual video inputs as I can connect my Windows desktop to one and my Linux server to the other and just use the front panel menu button to switch from one. on the other hand. Built-in speakers are fine, but don't expect high-fidelity surround sound from them. I just wish there were two audio inputs. It took me a while to get used to the widescreen format, but I really liked it. This is a very good monitor for the price and is bright enough for watching videos. and TV if you have a tuner card in your PC. I bought it mainly because of the HP brand, but be aware that like most modern electronics, it's made in China.
