So over the last 30 years I've accumulated several hundred CDs, DVDs and Blu-rays, all of which have been copied to my home server. Rather than wasting valuable storage space by keeping them in their original packaging I have chosen to keep the disc and liner notes with CDs and for the most part these cases hold up great. I can fit two to three CDs and their liner notes in an envelope, although it usually only takes one CD and its liner notes. With DVDs, I just keep the disc and throw the rest away, and they're great for that too. This reduced my overall storage requirements by about 60%.
