I don't know why I chose this adapter but I can tell you it was the BEST adapter you could buy. I've tried several different ones; they are all rubbish. This choice was great. It has everything I need and some cool stuff I wasn't expecting. EXAMPLE: Heavy-duty 16 AWG power cord. Not very typical as in addition the cigarette lighter element is built into the adapter, so you still have a car cigarette lighter. never seen before Finally it has a good weight. IDK about you, but the weight of an item, especially electronics, means a lot. And this adapter has a good solid "heaviness" built in. Great quality - smart purchase. Oh yes, it works great too!
