Great headphone with extended noise on top and solid base. I've bought at least 30 sets of buds over the years and find most of them more decorative than useful. This is my pair of workhorses for the price. I actually went back and bought 3 more kits for future use. (I'm very bad with headphones). Additionally, Audio-Technica is a respected company that has been around for decades; unlike many foreign companies that exist today and produce bras tomorrow. Of course, if you like humor, the companies that sell cars from China have some really funny manuals. "The volume has to be tiny or your eyes might explode."
