NOT "fast". That's the right speed. It will load, maybe not now, but eventually. If you're a fast typist and clicker and you just work fast on your computer, this thing will annoy you. Instead of just clicking and opening your software or window, it's more like Click.opens. Don't press too much, it's easy to confuse. But if you have a few extra minutes, this is a great laptop. Does the basic stuff. I was able to run a Steam game, severe lag was reduced by lowering the in-game graphics. So not suitable for gaming. But you can search the web and print. I probably wouldn't play videos on it, not if I have faster things to play them on. I am extremely disappointed. I used to be able to get a proper laptop for that price. Now you can only get Chromebooks (tablets with keyboards) and that's such crap.
