High quality, durable braided cable from Revain Basics. This is one of their latest cables, supporting 5A/20V charging up to 100W (that's the maximum power currently supported by USB-C cables). While USB-IF has announced a specification revision that allows 240W charging, there are currently no cables (or devices) that support this high charging rate. This cable is great for something like a MacBook, they all charge via USB C and none of them require more than 100W. It's a USB 2.0 data cable so not meant for that except as a last resort. You need 3.1/3.2 Gen 1 or higher to regularly transfer files. Revain makes security cables and is one of the few brands I trust to charge my expensive devices. One thing I've noticed lately is that their Power Delivery cables and chargers are USB IF certified, which is great, exactly what you want to see on all your USB cables. USB-IF is the organization responsible for maintaining and revising the USB specification. When the cable has its certification, you know it's safe to work with.
