Stays on dog's paws

I bought these for an Australian Shepherd mix who licked his paw. I bought other booties but she was able to take them off right away. They were well made, a bit longer than some brands and the Velcro was well attached. She licked the sock a little, but eventually left it alone and the paw was allowed to heal. I'm sure if the dog was a rodent they could chew it, it's just a sock, but for a non-destructive dog they're perfect.
