This is my first lightweight backpack. I wanted the backpack to be a lot lighter than my old one which was over twice the weight of this one. This backpack is extremely durable due to its very light weight. and water resistance is actually quite effective. I ran in heavy rain for several hours and there was no sign of water inside. If you're transitioning from a regular backpack type and want something lighter, this is the backpack for you. The main compartment has enough space for everything I need to make me and my dog very comfortable even in winter. An internal zippered pocket that houses the frame provides additional organization for flatter/less bulky items. The side pockets comfortably hold two 1 liter water bottles (life size water or smart bottle). The lid is pretty cool, there are good gear loops on each corner so you can attach something to it and thread a string through it or use any rope you like so you can attach something like jacket etc to it. The pocket in the lid can hold a lot of things. I personally use it for snacks, gloves, hats and other things I might need on a hike so I don't have to take off my backpack. Decently sized hip pockets are great for stashing small items you need while hiking. The mesh pocket on the front can also hold a decent amount of stuff, suitable for things you might need quick access to, such as: B. Water filter, nutrition kit, first aid kit. and of course additional straps on the front to attach gear to the outside of your pack if needed. The overall comfort of the backpack is amazing. I sweat a lot so sweating on my back is inevitable, but compared to other backpacks there is a noticeable difference in the amount I sweat and there is no fabric that absorbs my sweat like some backpacks do is, some backpacks I've used retain moisture. sweat like a sponge and stay dry forever. I don't see the need for another pack for a while.
