Light, strong, yet slim shoulder straps

I love this bag, it's very light and easily holds 30 pounds. The reason I took off a star is because I got red sores on my shoulders after hiking the Maroon Bells Four Pass for three days. The shoulder straps are a bit too flimsy and that's definitely the Achilles heel for this killer backpack.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Heavy use good impression

I have been actively using the backpack for 8 weeks now. It's a lot lighter than my old Gregory Shasta. I carry about 25 pounds and it works well. Feels good after a long day. The shoulder padding is good and the waist belt can be adjusted to fit different configurations. External mesh and hip belt pockets are very useful

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • High price

I am in love with this bag.

I really like this bag. Large hip belt pockets. Insanely comfortable. Easy. Much better than the Blaze 55 I used before. I like that the brain is removable. Not tested in the rain, so I can't comment on waterproofness. really liked it. 5'9 / 150 / 30" waist / 19" torso

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Only available in white

Light, Strong, Winner

Drive 250 miles on the Colorado Trail. It held up, it held up to everything, it was comfortable and well designed with many things I really appreciated using it. I saw several other people using it. Water repellent but not waterproof, so bring a trash bag or rain cover in case of heavy rain. You can't go wrong with this package!

Pros
  • Sleek Design
Cons
  • Not the Best

rode well over 30 miles on the AT

The zippers at the waist are very convenient. There's plenty of room in the brain for snacks and quick things. I covered my backpack with my poncho to keep the rain out and wrapped my stuff in the garbage bags. The shoulder straps made me tired on the first day. I think the problem was that I didn't tighten the chest strap tight enough, on the 2nd day I tightened it and it helped a lot.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Too much for a backpacking novice

This was the second backpack I ordered to see if it would fit comfortably on my short and stocky frame. It's very light, but also meant relatively narrow pauldrons. I couldn't adequately support the backpack with my hips, which resulted in too much pressure on the shoulder straps. I had to upgrade to something better in terms of wider and softer shoulder straps. I have no doubt that this set is one of the best. I think my biggest problem was my lack of experience setting it up and trying to…

Bang-for-buck winner throws up his hands.

Want a lighter package (not ultra. That said, it should weigh a little less than a bundle and cost a lot for no reason) but $200 is your limit? This. buy now Look the way you like, it doesn't get any better if you're inclined to REAL HIKING where town isn't 20 miles away every day, with a Visa Gold card for every little thing, like everything the things you insist aren't needed. then get a letter in the mail, use it for a day or two on the go, and then mail it home. Yes, it's not really a…

The best ultralight, durable backpack this side of the Mississippi!

This backpack is surprisingly light and made from durable materials. I love that it's waterproof so I don't have to worry about rain gear! Not to mention the unbeatable lifetime guarantee 😵😵 It has plenty of storage pockets, the side pockets are large and both fit two water bottles. It has a large front mesh pocket that you can use for quick and easy access items like hiking boots or a raincoat. The top is detachable and can be used as a day pack or slung over the shoulders for quick access…

Great package! to Backpacking Packs

This is my first lightweight backpack. I wanted the backpack to be a lot lighter than my old one which was over twice the weight of this one. This backpack is extremely durable due to its very light weight. and water resistance is actually quite effective. I ran in heavy rain for several hours and there was no sign of water inside. If you're transitioning from a regular backpack type and want something lighter, this is the backpack for you. The main compartment has enough space for everything I
