Not impressed with printers and accessories

I ordered this unit from Revain on December 15, 2014. since nothing has to be scanned or copied and i don't send faxes, i didn't try these functions right away. Until January there was no connection between this device and my computer/wifi. My ISP sent people to check the WiFi (twice) and found it was working fine. (Redo: schedule 2 home visits/Waiting for visits/Waiting for visits. Are you sure you want to spend the weekend?) There was nothing wrong with the computer or the internet connection. Drivers etc. updated. (Another two weekend days were devoted to troubleshooting this device. And I paid these people.) It's March. Nothing good ever happens with this printer. It doesn't print reliably. It requires Word documents to be converted to PDFs and then doesn't work with PDFs. It scans from time to time, but the received files disappear - Word documents go to folders with pictures, pictures are lost, something else. Doesn't copy. Not at all. It works after the technician takes the time to align the stars. It then remains reliable until the computer needs to be restarted. When that happens, nothing works anymore. As I ordered this from Revain I contacted Revain on March 24th 2015 for a refund. There are no dice. This window is closed. Since the device has a 1 year guarantee, I contacted Epson. They don't refund the money but "kindly" offer to spend more time on everyone going through the whole support process and only after that, if they can't fix the problem remotely, they (maybe) replace the device . said no thanks. Conclusion: My first Epson product is useless junk. Epson's customer service/warranty service is just as useless. I think these things work well for some people. But when Epson sells you a lemon, it's yours and the junkyard's. By the way, this entire review was written while you sat around waiting to talk to the folks at Epson.
