First, let's state that this is NOT user error. I have had over 50 computers since 2000. I am familiar with Microsoft systems. Local Area Network, Bluetooth, Windows XP > Windows 11, a high level of knowledge of office products and analytics. Okay, now that I've boasted, let's get down to business. The computer I bought had a defective Wi-Fi adapter card. It will not connect to Wi-Fi under any circumstances, or connect and then disconnect. I fixed problems with the modem and wireless router, made sure there weren't any problems on that front (everything worked fine with other devices), then checked every aspect of the hardware. Nothing. Worst of all we called Lenovo to see if they had a fix for the adapter and after waiting on hold for three hours going from rep to rep they decided to charge me for the service . for a NEW computer. hard pass. This is a return. Yes, I understand lemons exist, but what really put me off was Lenovo's poor treatment. I'm always surprised when companies try to monetize new customers who need help with a new product. Really bad shape. In any case. The item will be returned and I will receive a refund.
