Review on Lenovo AIO 22 L22I 30 Monitor: All-in-One Display for Ultimate Performance by Mark Palmer

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The screen is good for me

No additional warranty was offered for this $600 device. The regular price is too high. Keyboard and mouse are a wireless joke. They are of such poor quality that I buy a USB powered trackball wireless mouse and keyboard as most of the wireless devices I have found are weak. If an extended warranty was offered it would be a solid 4 stars in my opinion. If the retail price stayed the same and you could get an extended warranty I would give it 5 stars as it would have been worth buying a new mouse and keyboard. It takes at least 4 hours to get rid of all the extra junk and have a solid firewall and antivirus on top of Defender. I've found that from the start you have little control over the system until you rip it out. It comes with Win 10 even though it says 11. Right after turning it on it's set to download and update to 11 BUT when you check the system it says it's still 10. This gives you the option to go back to 10. Not confused anymore? one thing though. If you try to install or download another antivirus or firewall, McCaffee will mark them as malicious and will not allow you to do so. So either uninstall this crap and boot whatever you want while Windows security is running, or boot into another system, transfer to a USB stick, turn off your modem and then carry on. IMHO the screen is excellent. I can barely hear any fan running and it looks like the fan already needs to be replaced. So I recommend a separate monitoring program to warn you of overheating etc so you don't burn it. I will NOT recommend or endorse any specific software. Do your own due diligence and choose what suits you. It is also very quick to set up and operate. This is one of the best packaging I've ever seen. The way Revain packed it in the factory box was terrible, but Lenovo's great job kept it from getting damaged. I say this based on years of professional packaging experience and ridiculously low standards on my part. I'm typing this on an old computer I built because I can't use Lenovo's crappy keyboard without making LOTS of mistakes and fixing them.
