Review on Rugged Ridge All Terrain 14975 33 Cherokee by Nathan Guzman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Reliable product for the money

I originally bought the tanning kit because my car's interior was khaki but they were too tan (and the carpet is grayer anyway) so I ordered them. Much better looking. The set is good at the moment. The front mats stick out a bit in the middle, I suspect with some use (like leg weight) they will settle. The second row of mats can also be a little shorter in the middle because it protrudes. a little to the beginning. I also value that for a while, which should calm the situation down. The trunk mat is not as durable as the front mats I've seen from photos and other reviews. I wish it wasn't because the floor mats are very high quality and I prefer them visually to the trunk mat. Still, it's nice and should serve my purpose. All rugs come out of the box slightly greasy and give off an unpleasant chemical odor which I assume will dissipate after airing. My final comment relates to the "Rugged Ridge" labels on each rug. Both sets I ordered arrived with the label on the charging mat already peeled off. While they'll return immediately (just a few posts sticking to the mat), I'm skeptical about the long-term viability of this particular feature. Once the weather is nice I can take the time to glue them all in place as they really enhance the overall look of the rug. Overall I can't complain for the money, they compare favorably to the competition, look good, should work great in winter and feel like they'll last as long as I've owned the car. a few months so I'll address some of my earlier issues. First, the chemical smell goes away after a few days. The fit/curvature issues discussed earlier resolved themselves. The rugs look fantastic and are incredibly easy to care for. I've even had comments from passengers about how good looking they are. My only complaint is still the quality of the charging mat. The Rugged Ridge label on my charging mat completely peeled off within a month, I'm not sure if I should stick it back on (probably a losing battle in the long run) or just forget it. I'm happy to pay more for a cargo mat that matches the material and structure of the floor mats. All in all, I highly recommend these rugs.
