This monitor can use both VGA and DVI input. It's very light and looks beautiful. The picture quality is good and there are several ways to improve the colors in the OSD. The only downside is the installation, so I'm only giving it three stars. This monitor is not plug and play (maybe I missed something or did something wrong?). It comes with a software driver that you need to install first, with a different monitor of course. After installing the driver software, it may not work properly at first. My guess is that this monitor is trying to keep the refresh rate and everything in sync with the device you're connecting it to. I once unplugged this monitor's VGA connection from my desktop and plugged it into my laptop. It works with the laptop but not at the resolution (1920 x 1080) previously used with the laptop. After several tries I couldn't get it to use the previous resolution on my laptop. Then I connected it back to my desktop and everything was blurry, everything was out of sync and messy. After playing around with my graphics card and monitor drivers for about an hour, I simply unplugged the VGA cable from the monitor itself and plugged it back in, and everything was fine; 1920 x 1080 resolution with 60Hz refresh rate on my desktop. This monitor is great when it works. But installing, hot-swapping or using it on different devices can be a real hassle.
