Review on ๐ŸŽง JVC HAEN10BTA Gumy Sport Wireless Earbud Nozzle - Blue, Sweatproof Bluetooth Earbuds by Theresa Grieve

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not as good as their previous wireless in-ear earbuds.

I like the previous line of JVC wireless earphones. They weren't very expensive and lasted quite a long time and were durable too, I even accidentally washed a couple or two and they worked fine for many months after that. When they decided to discontinue them and replace them with a different but similar set of WiFi attachments. I wasn't thrilled but decided to give them a try. So disappointed. They lack the controls that were present in the previous style. Battery life is zero for them, and the wires break and wear out more easily because they're so thin. Previously on the JVC F250BT series, you could press the play button to pause and resume the audio. This allows you to hear your ringtone. through your media files when someone has called and been in touch with you and allow you to answer or hang up by pressing the play button. It also allowed skipping tracks by pressing the play button twice, and the average battery lasted 8-12 hours depending on whether it was used continuously or not at all. And it gives you a certain sound when the battery is low. However, they don't let you hear your ringtone. So if you don't want to see if someone is calling you, your media will play and you'll miss the call. You can press the play button to pause, but you won't be able to resume every time you press it again, or if it does it will resume after a very, very long pause. It doesn't skip tracks by double-tapping the play button, and I've been told the mic feels like I'm yelling at other people I'm on the phone with. It sounds like a ring for every notification that pops up on the phone, but the same thing happens when the batter dies so you never know what's going on, which is particularly annoying as you don't even hear your phone ring and that does it. You can't answer calls by pressing the play button like in previous versions of WiFi headphones. Battery life is maybe 4-6 hours and definitely not when it's only around 2-4 hours of constant use. The only thing that has stayed the same are the nozzle-shaped buds, which were a selling point for me as I prefer them to round gummies. Definitely not worth the money and it is sad that they have replaced a durable and easy to use product with this rubbish. The pink in-ear headphones are the previous version, the white ones are the new version and are the subject of this review.
