Review on πŸ–¨οΈ Cooling Batches for Hobbyists: Creality Printers by Paul Andrews

Great print quality for the price

So far I really like this printer. I had bad experience with the temperature controlled AnyCubic Mega S and sent it back and got this one. My brother-in-law has one and recommended it to me. I really like the print quality. The only downside to this printer is that it doesn't have a second Z-axis stepper motor. Unless you're picky about accuracy, you can skip it. It takes some work to put together, but all the tools are included to get the job done. I really like the size of the print area. It's bigger than the AnyCubic Mega S. That was important to me because I print big parts that others couldn't print. This one is very good too. AnyCubic Mega S could be heard in the next room. It's so quiet that the fan is much louder than stepper motors. The UI isn't great and uses a button to select features. I also noticed that the list of files on the micro SD chip didn't appear on the initial install. I have to remove and reinsert it to see the files.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
