Pros & Cons Mother 5yrs

Product: White Baby DeeDee Sleep Nest Teddy Sleeping Bag Large 18 Months+ PROS: Hard wearing, easy to wash and dry (tumble dry low). Washable in the normal wash cycle with towels, inside out with zipper. I was a medium size for my baby and used it every day (swapped two of the same size so I could use 1, 1 in the wash, wash every 3 days). It held up well and didn't shrink, crack or roll. The size fits perfectly. My child was 6 months old when I gave him the medium version of the same product and he used it until he was 14 months old. It was definitely quite large (the long on the feet didn't seem to bother the baby and rolled over normally). We're currently on the 18-36 month version and we're still loving it. CONS: - The tabs on the shoulder buttons were awesome! BEFORE he was about 12 months old and figured out how to unzip it. Then he got out and just threw out his cot. Of course he was cold when we discovered this several mornings in a row. Not to mention that now a loose and loose sleeping bag can become dangerous for a child. After he dropped out for the second time, I started looking for a new product. But since I liked everything else about this product, I didn't want to switch to anything else. So I got creative and sewed the shoulder together (so you can't undo the tabs and now have to thread your arms through the holes like you're putting on your shirt or overalls). Does it bother you when putting the baby in and out? This didn't bother our baby as we always put him in a sleeping bag before putting him to bed. (We made him wake up after we sang him a lullaby and he put himself to sleep). Another disadvantage can be that there is no cover at the end of the zipper. They close from top to bottom (the zipper starts at the baby's chest/neck and then goes up to the baby's legs. So the zipper is almost the same length as the sleeping bag. The part on the neck/chest where the zipper starts doesn't have a small piece of fabric to cover it. The bottom part where the zipper ends is gone too. So the zipper opens up somehow. Now I have a sewing machine so I just added a little cover on both ends of mine little friend apparently didn't do it that way it's very annoying I just sewed the cover on before he figured out how to open it 5th child They just can't be too careful you gotta stop before they start . FAQ: - Can your child stand and roll over in this sleeping bag? Mine can. I always find it worthwhile going into his room in the morning. - Does the fabric breathe? I use the sound machine on low St runs for ambient no noise, temp set to 69 degrees.) I check it once or twice a night, it makes no noise. tired or cold and sleeps peacefully in his crib. We are currently using a size 18 long sleeve romper and Carters socks and this sleeping bag. He wakes up early in the morning but falls asleep again after a few minutes. Overall, I rate this product 5 stars, even with the cons. I have washed and dried this item every 3 days for 12 months with no problems. I was skeptical about durability seeing the negative reviews but I'm glad I took the chance. My baby is currently 18 months old (started wearing the plus size 18-36 months when he was 15 months old) and has been using the baby deedee sleep nest since he was 6 months old and is seriously sleeping better and longer with it . So this mom is happy in the camper. I did NOT receive a free product, I did NOT receive a refund for my review.
