Cheap screw fell apart - impossible to open

On initial inspection I was not impressed with the product but found it to be worth $15. It came assembled but there was a small screwdriver in the box. These are two pieces of metal shaped like a box and attached to each other with 8 screws. As I started removing the screws from the bottom, I could feel the metal coming loose from each screw. Metal dust spilled onto my workbench and I could see tiny blobs of paint flying out of the screw hole with each revolution. In the end all four came out. There are four more screws on the top of the case. The first three came out with the same effort as the first. Unfortunately the head of the last screw was destroyed by turning the tool. I touched the head of the screw again until I felt enough resistance to try again. This time there was even more material. The last screw has turned just far enough that it is no longer flush with the case. It was clear that I would not come in. Obviously a bad screw ruined my experience, but I have a few other thoughts. Even without the failed screw, I have a feeling this isn't a case that will survive repeated builds.2. The two pieces of metal began to separate as each screw was removed. This may be the reason why the last screw got stuck and eventually failed.3. The protection provided in this case is very specific to falls and objects falling on them. It is open to the environment.4. It's more or less what you see in the photos, but the feeling you get when you pick it up is a completely different experience. I'd like to jump in and run my Pi 4 in at least trial mode.
