Shout Color catchers are magic leaves that are added to each load and make my life a little easier. They save me time and nerves because I don't have to carefully sort my laundry for washing. I am a very picky person when it comes to laundry and have been using them to wash mixed batches of laundry for more years than I care to count. I only wish I had had them when I was a student. They do exactly what they say. You can toss any garment in the washing machine knowing the colors won't transfer from one item to another. They hide colors from white and remove any potential "dullness" from darker charges. They're great for new clothes to catch dyes that wash out in the first wash. Having to do laundry at the laundromat saves me from having to do any weird stuff that the last person to use the machines might have washed. They also help me be cost efficient by allowing me to wash with a full load no matter what I need to wash - I no longer have to use a half load to separate light and dark. My better half doubted the magic of color catchers when I first introduced them to him. Knowing how special I was, he watched me wide-eyed as I combined white with red and dark. And so the colors are caught, beautiful white whites, another adherent to the magic of color traps.
