Review on Moen A721BN Square Drop Ell Handheld Shower Wall Connector in Brushed Nickel by Luis Green

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A very finely worked piece of metal!

Wow! It's a piece of metal! Very solid, heavy and solid. No cheap black metal inserts, no plastic. Just a well-made piece of metal. Very nice ending. You get what you pay for here, even if other Moen products don't necessarily equal it in this regard (e.g. a more expensive component doesn't equal quality as I've had cheap Moen plastic and black metal for double the price when other products) . this) The only problem with this pipe. Run a tube of the desired length from the wall to the back of the nozzle. This requires a very precise tolerance, and standard nipples (short lengths of tapered tubing with threads on both ends) are only available in n 1/2" pitches, so non-standard lengths of tubing may be required. Pipe sealant and Teflon tape are a must. For those who ask "What's a drip?" It's just a fancy 90 degree elbow for a tube that screws into the wall that serves as a handy attachment point for the hand held shower hose. You can attach the shower tube to a sturdy bracket on the wall Place Wall Start add the wall bypass valve to switch between standard shower head and handheld shower outlet I digress just do it from the start!
