Temperature regulation is better than down
I've been using this duvet for about a year now. I was warm enough in the winter and cool enough in the summer (although I leave the air conditioning on in the summer). I prefer an alpaca duvet over down because it seems to keep my temperature more stable throughout the night and doesn't clump up in the same way. The alpaca blanket was heavier than I thought it would be, but after a week or two I got used to it. You can't wash alpaca fur either, you only air it out in the summer sun once a year, so keep that in mind if you have pets or children who might spill something on it. Overall I was very happy with it.
